Jean Biesecker is a solo practitioner with a family law and dispute resolution practice primarily serving clients in Montgomery and Chester counties. Jean has a dual-degree in law from the T.C. Williams School of Law and Master in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Jean is passionate about creating opportunities for couples and families to talk together and explore the possibilities of directing their futures and the future of their children in a mutual, decision-making process. A key component of her practice has been Mediation since 1997, with the addition of Collaborative Law in 2010. Beginning in September 2015, she has devoted her practice to non-court resolution processes for resolving disputes, namely Mediation and Collaborative Law.

Jean is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School’s Mediation Clinic.

Jean has been an affiliate member of Divorce Done Right since 2006 and a member of Collaborative Law Professionals of Southeastern Pennsylvania (CLP) since 2010.

Jean has been an approved Mediator in special education matters for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Office of Dispute Resolution since September 2011. She is currently a Facilitator for Montgomery County Court’s Friend of Court program in abuse matters. She was a Mediator for Montgomery (May 2002 to September 2015) and Chester Counties’ (May 2002 to 2012) court-connected custody mediation programs.

In addition to representing families in a range of matters related to separation and divorce, Jean has served as an advocate for children, parents and foster parents in the child welfare system. Jean has been a member of the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth Multidisciplinary Team from June 2005 until September 2015, assessing and making recommendations for comprehensive coordinated treatment in the County’s child abuse cases.

Throughout her career, Jean mediated pre-EEO complaints for the U.S. Postal Service REDRESS Program and has training in elder mediation matters.

Jean is also a Parent Coordinator, serving as a Parent Coordinator for the Denver District Court in high conflict parenting matters.

Related to her mediation and collaborative law practice, Jean is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals; Dispute Resolution and Collaborative Law Committees of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Bar Associations, respectively; Association for Conflict Resolution; Pennsylvania Council of Mediators and Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. Jean has served as Co-Chair of the Montgomery Bar’s Collaborative Law Committee since 2012 and as Secretary and Executive Committee member of CLP in 2013 and 2014.

As an educator, Jean was a co-instructor for Denver-based Dispute Resolution Professionals, teaching a court-mandated parenting education class; trainer for Pennsylvania Child Welfare Competency-Based Training and Certification Program as well as the Pennsylvania Council Of Children, Youth And Family Services; and former adjunct faculty at James Beasley School of Law, co-teaching and supervising law students in a clinical custody mediation program.

Barbara B. Zulick is the founder of Zulick Law LLC, located in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

She is the Co-President of this practice group and Co-Chair of the Montgomery Bar’s Collaborative Law Committee.

Ms. Zulick focuses her practice on family law and estate planning and administration. She graduated from St. Lawrence University, cum laude, with a triple major in French, English and History of Art. She then received her J.D. degree from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 1976, her Estate Planning Certificate, cum laude, in 1995 and finally her Masters of Laws in Taxation in 1997, also from Temple.

Ms. Zulick is the co-author of two books for George T. Bisel, Pennsylvania Divorce Code Annotated and Pennsylvania Support Practice, which can be viewed at the firm’s website, www.zulicklaw.com and www.bisel.com.

Ms. Zulick is a member of the Montgomery, Chester, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations and their respective Family Law and Probate and Tax Sections. For two years, in 2004 and 2005, she chaired the Montgomery Bar Association’s Probate and Tax Section and previously, in 2001, chaired the Association’s Family Law Section.

In March 2010, Ms. Zulick participated in the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Exchange Program with the Lyon, France Bar Association. She spent the month at the Fidal firm in Lyon.

In addition to the two textbooks noted above, Ms. Zulick has authorized many articles and presented lectures on family law and trusts and estates, locally, statewide and nationally.

Michelle Tate a Certified Financial Planner ™ * practitioner since 2007, is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council. Michelle has more than 20 years of experience serving individuals, families, non-profit organizations and corporations.

In her practice, Michelle works with clients to help them approach the financial complexities of the divorce process holistically. Her focus on education and understanding short and long-term financial and life goals prepares clients with analysis necessary to make informed decisions in the divorce process.

For more than ten years, working with women in transition has been an important focus of Michelle’s  practice. She works closely with Family Law and American Academy Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) to help ensure that their clients understanding of their financial future is accurate and realistic. Michelle was also a co-teacher of the MoneyW!SE 12 week course on personal finance providing domestic violence survivors an opportunity to become financially literate, confident women.

Prior to joining Boenning & Scattergood, Michelle was a Senior Relationship Manager at Hawthorn, PNC Family Wealth and a Senior Portfolio Manager with BNY Mellon’s Wealth Management group. Her relationship management experience includes UBS in Philadelphia and serving as a consultant for several entrepreneurial software firms delivering financial services solutions in Canada and the United Kingdom.

Michelle’s community work includes serving as a weekend guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and as a board member of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA), Philadelphia Chapter. Michelle is a past president of the board of Center in the Park and past chairman of the Mid-Atlantic Charitable Trust Committee at BNY Mellon. Her volunteer work also includes the Atlanta Historical Society, Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games (ACOG) and USA Luge.

Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Alabama. Michelle holds FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses. She is a licensed Life and Health Insurance producer with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has completed Collaborative Law Training. * To earn the CFP® designation, candidates must meet several requirements—the first of which is the educational requirement, which requires candidates to have a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited U.S. college or university. As a first step to the present CFP® certification criteria, students must master a list of nearly 100 topics on integrated financial planning.  To fulfill the education requirement, students are required to complete course training in covered topic areas in order to meet the first requirement to sit for the CFP® Board Certification Examination.

Danine Mueller, CDFA®

Danine Mueller is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® and President of Certified Divorce Specialists, LLC located in Wayne, PA. She has been a member of Collaborative Law Professionals of Southeastern Pennsylvania (formerly Collaborative Family Law Affiliates) since 2003.

In her practice, Danine works together with clients to help them navigate the complexities of the divorce process. Her approach centers around educating clients and preparing them for the future. Using her extensive financial and analytical background, she assesses both the near- and long-term financial implications of a proposed settlement. This holistic approach to planning is the foundation for financial success and security for her clients and their families. In addition to her practice as a divorce financial analyst, Danine has been providing comprehensive wealth management services to individuals and small businesses for over 15 years.

Danine graduated from Villanova University with a B.S. in Finance and, shortly thereafter, launched into a 14-year investment career with the Vanguard Group. As a Principal and Portfolio Manager, she was responsible for the oversight, investment strategy, and trading of over $3.5 billion in assets for the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Ohio Tax-Exempt Long Bond Portfolios.

After “retiring” for a few years to care for her three young children, Danine returned to the workforce to pursue her passion of helping individuals and providing them with the tools needed to achieve financial freedom.
